Indian Bollywood Dance is a stylistic dance, combining Indian Classical and Indian Folk dance. The dance involves 3 components - hand movements, leg movements and facial expressions. The varied body movements of hand gestures, shoulder shaking, hip twisting, leg, feet, heel and toe movements are inspired by music while facial expressions are used to convey emotions.

Indian Bollywood Dance was introduced in True Yoga in January 2005, and is suitable for everyone. Learn from Perini Kumar, a professional dancer with a PhD in dance from India. Kumar has been practicing various forms of Indian dance for over 10 years and also teaches Indian Classical Dance, Indian Fusion Dance and Belly Dance at True Yoga.
